Welcome to the very first post on the Valhalla North blog — a simple placeholder for now, but the beginning of something meaningful.

If you’re new here, we’re a Marine veteran–owned Christian equine ranch tucked into the trees and quiet snow of the Minnesota Northwoods. Our life here is equal parts grit and grace, long days and answered prayers, hay bales and northern lights.

This blog will eventually become a home for:

We want it to be a reminder that God works in the quiet places.
That healing often comes four hooves at a time.
And that even in the darkest seasons, the Northern Lights still rise.
